Refund Policy

The short version

A retake that fails — or doesn't look like you — doesn't count. Failed jobs refund themselves automatically, and a thumbs-down on any result returns your credit. Subscription refunds go through Apple's standard process, and we don't fight them.

Failed retakes cost nothing — automatically

If a retake job fails — the generation broke, our AI provider declined the photo, or the result never came back:

1. The retake is refunded automatically. No forms, no emails, no asking.
2. If you paid with a credit, the credit goes back to your balance. If the retake counted against your weekly or yearly plan limit, that slot is restored.
3. Each failed retake is refunded at most once — the refund is recorded, so it can't be applied twice.

"Doesn't look like you" costs nothing either

Every result has a 👍/👎 option. If the retake came back technically fine but doesn't look like you:

1. Tap 👎 on the result.
2. The credit is returned automatically — or the retake slot is restored, same as a failure.
3. That's the whole process. This is our standing promise: a retake that doesn't look like you doesn't count.

Like failure refunds, each result is refunded at most once.

Subscription and purchase refunds

All purchases are App Store in-app purchases, so refund requests are handled by Apple's standard process:

• Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Apple reviews and decides refund requests under its own policies — we don't control the outcome.
• If Apple ever asks us, we don't dispute a request made in good faith.

Cancelling a subscription

Cancel anytime in-app, in your App Store subscription settings — the same place you subscribed. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; nothing is charged after that, and retakes you've already made stay yours. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription — cancel in the subscription settings first.

Credit packs

Credit packs never expire, so there is nothing to refund for age. If you bought credits by mistake, request a refund through Apple at the link above.

When we refund directly

We don't take payment on this website, so direct refunds from us are rare. If you believe you were charged in error, email hi@refirecam.com with your account email and we will make it right.

Fair use

The thumbs-down promise exists for genuine misses. Accounts that abuse it — for example, rejecting good results repeatedly to farm free retakes — may have the free-retake privilege limited. Your paid purchases are never affected.
